When Master Vile turned back time reverting the Power Rangers back to their childhood the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers were left powerless to defend their Power Coins or to restore time to normal. Tommy, Adam, Rocky, Katherine, and Aisha were left with no other alternative than to travel through time to find the Zeo Subcrystals and reunite them in the hopes of restoring time and their powers.
The Power Rangers successfully brought back the Zeo Subcrystals and were able to reunite the Zeo Crystal thus restoring time to the planet Earth and giving themselves a new source of power. This power granted them the ability to morph into a fighting force far superior to the old Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, they became the Zeo Rangers.

The Power Rangers Zeo found themselves facing an enemy more powerful than they had ever faced, the intergalactic robotic conquerors known as the Machine Empire. The Power Rangers Zeo came equipped for this task with a wide range of new powers all obtained from the Zeo Crystal, a power source far more powerful than the Morphing Grid (which the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers drew their power from). Armed with the most advanced technologies, and directed by their mentor Zordon and his assistant Alpha 5, the Power Rangers Zeo stood ever vigilant to protect the Earth from the Machine Empire and any other threat.
Zeo Ranger I(1) Pink
Zeo Ranger I Pink draws power from the Pink Zeo Subcrystal with the shape of an oval on it. Zeo Ranger I Pink was designed by Billy and Alpha 5 to harness the Pink Zeo Subcrystal to its fullest potential. Zeo Ranger I Pink gives the person who calls its power increased strength, speed, agility, and endurance. Zeo Ranger I Pink controls Zeo Zord I and Super Zeo Zord I. Zeo Ranger I Pink is Katherine Hillard.
Zeo Ranger II(2) Yellow
Zeo Ranger II draws power from the Yellow Zeo Subcrystal with the symbol of two horizontal bars on it. Zeo Ranger II Yellow was designed by Billy and Alpha 5 to draw the maximum amount of power from the Yellow Zeo Subcrystal. Zeo Ranger II Yellow increases the strength, speed, agility, and endurance of its user. Zeo Ranger II Yellow controls Zeo Zord II and Super Zeo Zord II. The current Zeo Ranger II Yellow is Tanya Sloan.
Zeo Ranger III(3) Blue
Zeo Ranger III Blue draws power from the Blue Zeo Subcrystal with the shape of a triangle on it. Zeo Ranger III Blue was designed by Billy and Alpha 5 to control the powers of the Blue Zeo Subcrystal. Zeo Ranger III Blue increases the strength, speed, agility, and endurance of its user. Zeo Ranger III Blue controls Zeo Zord III and Super Zeo Zord III. Zeo Ranger III Blue was Rocky.
Zeo Ranger IV Green
Zeo Ranger IV Green draws power from the Green Zeo Subcrystal with the shape of a rectangle on it. Zeo Ranger IV Green was designed by Billy and Alpha 5 to control the powers of the Green Zeo Subcrystal. Zeo Ranger IV Green increases the strength, speed, agility, and endurance of its user. Zeo Ranger IV Green controlled Zeo Zord IV and Super Zeo Zord IV. The current Zeo Ranger IV Green is Adam Park.
Zeo Ranger V(5) Red
Zeo Ranger V Red draws energy from the Red Zeo Subcrystal with the shape of the star. Zeo Ranger V Red was designed by Billy and Alpha 5 to control the powers of the Red Zeo Subcrystal and acted as the leader for the Power Rangers Zeo team. When activated Zeo Ranger V Red increases the strength, speed, agility, and endurance of its user. Zeo Ranger V Red controls Zeo Zord V and Super Zeo Zord V. The current Zeo Ranger V Red is Tommy Oliver.
